Answers to FAQ's for all valued clients with EXIT 2011 bookings exclusively with NS Property As the EXIT Festival 2011 is approaching, we prepared a list of answers to help you enjoy your stay as much as possible :)
1. We are arriving in Novi Sad early in the morning (late at night), where will we get our keys? Regardless of the time of your arrival, you should a l w a y s first call the accommodation owners (please refer to the telephone numbers provided on your down payment receipt). Please call them at least 1 hour prior to your arrival to allow enough time for your hosts to prepare for you as in some cases you will be taken from their private residence to the place you rented.
In case of an emergency, NS Property's Sinisa will be on call ready to help from July the 6th until July 11th 2011. Sinisa's mobile phone is 060 7477 244 (+381 60 7477 244 ) 2. Which currency is accepted for the balance on the accommodation payment? Please note that the balance is payable to the owners, not to NS Property, and they should be paid in Euros. If you do not have Euros or access to Euros, the highest bank exchange rate will apply. 2.A What forms of payment are accepted at restaurants, bars, shops,supermarkets... ? For cash withdrawals in the local currency (Dinar) ATM's/Cash Point machines are located throughout the city for your convenience. Major credit cards are accepted at most places but please ask before your order/purchase to avoid inconvenience.
NOTE: Many places do not accept MASTER Card 3. Are towels, pillows and sheets provided at the rental place? Yes, all accommodation owners will prepare clean bedding and towels. 4. Which TAXI companies can we trust? What is the normal rate during the day and night? As a rough estimate, it should not cost you more than 3-6 EURO from the FORTRESS to any central destination in NOVI SAD - Petrovaradin (or vice versa). We also suggest that you observe if the driver turned on the taxi-meter. If they have not, please ask them to kindly do so. In Serbian language:
Please turn the taximeter on = Molim vas ukljuchite taximetar At a current exchange rate 1 EURO = 107 Dinars if the taximeter shows 503 Dinars (=5 EURO) you should be at your destination or very close by.

If you are coming from Budapest airport or any other destination please contact us, so we can give you a quote for your group transportation to Novi Sad. What about deposits?
We didn't make an agreement about that so I assume we don't have to pay one? No cash deposits are required! However, most (or all) owners will ask you for one passport per group to keep for security. That is a common practice in hotels, private apartments, and hostels. Please provide one passport to the owner. 6. Any place to swim in Novi Sad? Novi Sad has three beaches on the Danube river: 1. "STRAND beach" is the largest and most popular beach with green grass, showers, sandy beach and many restaurants and bars. 2. "EXIT beach", near the EXIT camp on the Novi Sad side, and about 500 meters up-stream from the Fortress. 3. "OFICIRSKA beach" (Officer's), on Petrovaradin side, some 800 meters down-stream from the Fortress. There are no life guards at the beaches and swimming is at your own risk. Please exercise caution at all times (except at the “STRAND" beach). 7. How many sets of property keys will we get? That depends on your group size. If your group is 5 people or less, the owners are asked to provide 2 sets of keys. For larger groups more key sets will be provided. 8. A friend of mine wants to stay in our apartment on the last night. (or any night). Is this ok? This is unacceptable at any time and on any day as the rates are based per person/per day.
If the owner finds out there are extra people in the apartment they will charge you twice the normal price for all days. We strongly advise you against sneaking anyone in your accommodations.
We also understand that on occasion this may become necessary and we urge you to contact us first so we can negotiate with the landlord on your behalf to avoid any problems.
